Bose audio equipment has been installed at University of Liverpool Foresight Centre, writes David Davies of Installation Europe. Dedicated to the training and business support services at the University, the Foresight Centre’s new Hub area can be deployed as a multi-purpose space for large and small meetings, promotional events and conferences. The site’s AV equipment was supplied and installed by Apple Sound.
The Bose® specification includes two Panaray® MA12 loudspeakers, two FreeSpace3® bass units, eight FreeSpace® DS16 flushmount ceiling speakers, four FreeSpace3® flush ceiling sets and the ControlSpace® ESP-88 audio management system. Other equipment installed includes Cloud amplifiers, NEC plasmas and an AMX control system.
According to Apple Sound, state-of-the-art presentation facilities combined with a bespoke Bose sound system allow great flexibility, enabling different groups to access PowerPoint presentations or promotional DVDs simultaneously in different areas of the lounge. This area also features a dedicated video-conferencing suite.
The new facilities also include two new training rooms, designed for the delivery of staff training and development programmes.
Lynn Westbury, head of the Foresight Centre, said:
“We are delighted with the new facilities. As one of the first venues to actively seek to bring the university and external organisations together, the Hub is purpose-designed to stimulate networking opportunities in a relaxing contemporary environment.
Apple Sound took on-board our requirements and delivered a first-class AV system with Bose sound that has the ‘wow factor’ we wanted.”
Apple Sound is a BOSE® Pro Partner.
